Hi Guys...
There's lots going on behind the scene's to plan this year's team. The NRU is working on our schedules, Martin has scheduled 3 pre-season matches, there are referee clinics being held, Greig is planning our practices and Kyle is working on our new kits. The executive have been meeting monthly to plan 2008. Our next meeting is Monday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Judge and Jury.
If you are planning on playing this year we need to hear from you first hand. We'll be fielding one Men's B side this year, as we did last year. Our goal should be to win the entire division, especially after an improved season like last year. If you are planning on playing, please let us know you want to join the team. I will also need your waist size measurements because shorts and socks are included in this year's registration. We need to have our kit order in by mid-March if we want it in time for the first game of the year.
Our first practice of the season will be at Grimsby Secondary High School on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Get there early to warm up and be ready to drill for 6:30 p.m. Please also bring your cheque books to complete the registration. You must be registered in full to practice and play in our pre-season/regular season matches. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please contact a member of the Executive Team to discuss some options. We have not set the fees this year but will have that information prior to our first practice.
